Use a light to medium pressure. The strokes should be gentle on the body at first. You’ll build a tolerance eventually, and as you do you can experiment with firmer pressure.
You should feel some sensation, especially when you use it for scalp massage and gua sha but if it’s painful you’ve gone too far!
Slight redness and warmth is a normal reaction.
