FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How do I clean my Almighty?

Since wood doesn't handle water well, avoid frequent exposure to it. Instead, wipe the tool with oil or cream after each use. For professional use, sanitize with alcohol first, then immediately moisturize with oil or cream to protect the wood.

Can I use the Almighty with oil or cream?
  1. For scalp Gua Sha and massage: You can use the Almighty with or without scalp oil. The green sandalwood comb naturally distributes your scalp’s oils. If you're using a specific scalp oil, our wooden comb is ideal, as it absorbs the oil evenly, nourishes your scalp, and prevents greasy hands—unlike plastic massagers.
  2. For facial and eye Gua Sha: It's recommended to apply oil or cream first, then proceed with Gua Sha for smoother strokes and better results.
How often should I practice Gua Sha using the Almighty?
  1. For scalp Gua Sha: For best results, practice at least 4 times per week. Daily use, especially in the morning and before sleep, is encouraged.
  2. For facial & eye Gua Sha: 3-4 times per week is ideal.

Are there any times I should avoid massage & Gua Sha?

It is advised to avoid performing Gua Sha on your scalp or body during your period or pregnancy

How much pressure should I use when doing Gua Sha?

Start with gentle strokes, especially on the scalp and face. Some initial discomfort is normal. As the saying goes, “If it hurts, it doesn’t flow; if it flows, it doesn’t hurt.” Adjust pressure as needed over time, especially during the first two weeks.

Is it normal to experience more hair falling or shedding after using Scalp Gua Sha?

Yes, increased hair shedding can be normal at first. Gua Sha stimulates the scalp, which may dislodge hairs in the resting or shedding phase. With regular use, improved circulation can reduce shedding and promote healthier hair growth. If concerned, consult a healthcare professional.
